Ashley Graham was born in Lincoln, Nebraska. The twin sisters raised in the same household, and she suffered bullying at school regularly because of the size of her thighs. Shortly after completing elementary school, Graham was diagnosed with Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (A.D.H.D. Graham overcame this obstacle along with other obstacles throughout her childhood. Graham was found by a talent agency when she was only 12 in the Nebraska mall. Her image was featured in ads and magazines before the time she graduated at Lincoln Southwest High School. Her physique was unique and had an unusual appearance that made finding employment difficult when she first started. Graham got several job offers as catalog ladies over the course of several years. She was however told by many people that there could only be jobs that were simple. The career of Graham grew rapidly when she proved those who doubted her to be wrong. Sally Singer, the editor of "Vogue" spoke with her during 2007. That was her first big break. In 2009, Graham appeared in "Glamour's" "These Bodies Are Beautiful In All Sizes". Graham was in the news for the second time in 2009 when she appeared in the scandalous Lane Bryant commercial that ultimately was banned in many countries. When the advertisement was pulled from YouTube and was removed from the site, it had been viewed over 800,000. The controversy escalated to the point where Graham was a guest on Jay Leno on "The Tonight Show." Graham soon became famous, and today is considered to be among America's best model models of the plus size category. Grande began acting and singing as a child. She was given a small performance in Broadway's show 13 in the year 2008. Then she started acting on various television programs. She got her first big break in 2010 by appearing on Nickelodeon's TV show Victorious. She appeared as Cat Valentine, a teenager studying at a school for performing arts. The sitcom was cancelled in 2013 and she was a part of the spinoff show, Sam & Cat.
