Scarlett Johansson is an American actor and performer who is born in NYC, in the United States on November 22 in 1984. Her performances have earned an acclaim in a diverse variety of genres, including historical dramas, thrillers and action adventures. Johansson is the daughter of the film producer as well as an architect, was born as a child in New York City. Hunter and her twin and Johansson were both among the youngest kids. From a young age, she developed an interest in acting. She started auditioning for commercials when she was 7. She was enrolled at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute shortly after and attended at the Professional Children's School, Manhattan to further her education. The Off-Broadway show Sophistry she was in the role of Ethan Hawke at age 8 and then in North produced by Rob Reiner in 1994 she was the first to appear in a film. Johansson made her debut with Ethan Hawke in Just Cause (1996), however her most memorable role was Manny & Lo 1996 that brought her to the forefront. It is a story about two teenage girls running away. She next earned critical acclaim for her role as an adolescent who suffers a horrific accident within The Horse Whisperer (1998) as well as further recognition in the role of a cynical teenager Rebecca on the set of Ghost World (2001). Renee Felice Smith's journey in entertainment began in a young age. She became interested in acting as a young child. Smith's parents helped her with landing her first acting role when she was six. Smith was in the Dannon commercial on TV. As with many actresses who started out she decided to hone her skills in the field of theatre. She was involved in various USA initiatives while also making her debut on stage in the company of Wildflower. She studied at her first Stonestreet Studios Conservatory, part of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
