Colson Baker, also known as Machine Gun Kelly, is well-known for his distinctive way of rapping. Baker was born in Houston, TX U.S. on the 22nd of April 1990 to parents who were of English Scottish German descent. When he was a kid Baker spent a large amount of time travelling with his parents who were missionaries. James Colson Baker, his father, suffered depression as well as unemployment. Her mother Sonia Alane had left him at the age of nine. After that, Baker and his dad moved to Denver in the area where they stayed with his aunt, who was his father's. Baker's lack of resources was a reason for bullying by kids who were around him. After he was in the sixth grade, Baker started to learn the art of rap. Baker had released four mixtapes in 2007 through 2010 before signing with Bad Boy Records. These Cleveland artist, who can deliver lyrics as fast as bullet-trains, had an astonishing rise towards the end of 2011, when he switched to self-publishing mixtapes instead of being signed to reputable labels. His career took off every album being ranked in the top 10.
